Following the acquisition of a state of the art chemical facility in Damastown, near Dublin, Clarochem was founded in 2009 to add approximetely 60,000L capacity to the group. With substantial room to expand, and after 2017 first US FDA approval, it is the perfect site for contract manufacturing opportunities but it has been also important to allow GMP starting materials and intermediates back-integration strategy to the benefit of all the companies in the group.

APIs Clarochem Ireland Ltd

Clarochem Ireland, AMSA, and Cosma are exclusively involved in API manufacturing, without any involvement in the finished dosage business.
This, together with complete financial independence of the group, puts the customer at ease for the lack of any potential conflict of interests.

Technologies

AMSA, Cosma and Clarochem Ireland possess a wide array of facilities and technologies, supporting their activity of multipurpose factories.
Today the total reaction capability of the group is 250 cubic meters, comprising stainless steel and glass-lined vessels ranging all sizes from kilo-lab to 8000 l reactors, all in GMP.
In-house milling, micronisation and compaction equipment is available in our finishing areas (class 100.000) to satisfy most customer needs on powder properties.
